Any one out there ride an Extreme C??

I have just bought one (yet to build it) It is a 58 sloping and I am about 88Kg. I have read about them flexing and there being a weight limit of 90Kg on the frame??I would be interested in anyones views....

BTW I own another Nago which is a 58s so i know the size is right, just concerned about this weight limit thing???!!

Thanks in advance....

Lig.

  • No limit on the extreme c as far as I am aware. They flex slightly compared to the extreme p but are still a great frame. You should be OK at your weight as far as flex goes.

    I didn't think Colnagos had a weight limit ?
I've looked on their website but couldn't see anything to confirm/refute this tho'

that Flamme Rouge guy sounds like such a winky. a buddy told me a bad story about him once, as it's one person's story I won't publicize it. what he didn't mention about the arbes that year is that i passed him twice and beat him. but he doesn't know me from adam although he did point out my bike, a CT2 - which is essentially a C50 and a Dream - but with Ti. very good product development - stick the same fork and rear end on a ti, carbo, alu, and steel bike. Gives consumers a real choice.

Mick from maestro once told me no weight limit for any colnago. Just a company policy. Just like Shimano wheels, they engineer them to be slightly heavier but they don't have a weight limit.

Will your 88 kg drop as you get fit over the summer?
