i am looking to invest in a new bike for my jorney to and from work, i have a very limited budget which at most is around 180,
looking around i am struggling to see what would make a good bike compared to a poor bike,
i am currently looking at either a Diamondback out look which i have found for 165
or a claud butler nevada for 167,
as i am a complete ignoramus with regards to most parts etc and am basing my choices on bikes with trigger gears as opposed to grip shift any help/advice on this would be a huge help.
Thanks

The diamondback outlook looks a decent buy for that amount of money.0

The Diamond back looks the better choice of the two but others will be able to give a better informed opinion.
It may be worth considering 2nd hand too. £180 doesn't get you much new, but you could get a cracking 2nd hand deal if you look around.0 -
Yeah second hand would give you a way better bike, but out of them two diamondback all the way0

Thats awesome cheers, the Diamondback it is then methinks.

If you're only going to and from work why not get a road bike?0

90% of my journey can be by canal and i just prefer the look of a mountain bike over a road bike0
