Cannondale SuperSix 2009

Anyone got one? Only they're flogging them off in a bike shop I know for a fairly cheap price and I'm wondering whether to shell out.
Wheelset and groupset aren't the greatest (Aksium and 105), but is the frame so good that I'd be daft to pass up the opportunity? I'm looking at £1700, for reference.

No one have any opinion on them, then?
I guess I should head down the shop, give it a whirl and report back, then...0 -
Frame is amazing, there were some issues with quality control on earlier frames (cracks sometimes appearing in seat tube) but this was sorted, and as long as you have a warrenty on the frame Cannondale will replace if it breaks.
I would defo recommend a test ride.Obsessed is a word used by the lazy to describe the dedicated!0 -
Just been for a test ride.
Wowsa. That's one hell of a bike. Begs to be ridden fast and you go forwards at great pace as soon as you stand on the pedals. Geometry is aggressive-ish, but not uncomfortable. Only issue I have is with the rather garish Liquigas colours, but tbh, I've never been all that fussed about colour. Current bike is done out in Festina colours, which says it all really.
I'm getting it.0 -
Get it! Liquigas looks pretty good on the road too!0

Lucky man
However, if you paid an extra £99, you could've had a 2010 model in bbq black or red with 105

Err, that's a SixCarbon cw42, not a SuperSix!0

Yep, the 2010 Six does look nice, but I needed something that would arrive imminently and fancied some of that non-melting Hi-Mod carbon.
If I had plenty of time, I'd have shopped around a bit more for something with maybe Ultegra and nicer wheels, but I've got the Marmotte to do in less than 8 weeks, so I needed something pronto. Free bike fitting thrown in too by someone who was quite happy to spend a lot of time piddling about in order to get it set up right.
Biggest drawback is the fairly weighty wheelset, but if I start saving the pennies, I might be able to pick up something lighter come July.0 -
