And it was crap, the up hill was so shit, i feel you spend to much time going no where, but, the downhill was quite good, but not worth the shitty long uphill, the uphill is not very technical and is very boring.

Yes, the climbing is quite easy. I did it all in my big ring fine, it would be much better with some steeper and more technical sections in it.

Maybe you weren't going fast enough? :D

which route did you do? im guessing whites level.

I like the uphill at the start. makes you feel like you have to earn the downhill that follows.

MTFU man, the wall is ace, defo one of the best trails ive ridden in the last few years, and if you feel like you dont have to earn a downhill, go for an uplift

That would explain it then, very tedious fireroad start. White's is an ace ascent, tight singletrack climbing for about 6km.

    I've bought a new bike....ouch - result

Did the wall for the first time yesterday. I really enjoyed it. Completely worth the tedious climb for the view at the top and the zig zag final descent was cracking.

Wall is good, but alot of it isnt worth it, being a local, i know how to cut all the crap, and go streight to the final (and best) 3 sections (373, graveyard, zigzags)

Whites is a better trail overall, but gets busy.

Penhydd was the best, the climb was broing, but short, and the DH was AWSOME!

Whites is just as good though, but is not really worth it ona nice weekend... too busy.
