chainring guards

i am in need of a device that stops my trousers getting caught in the chainrings of a truvativ blaze crankset. Do such things exist and if so what are they called?

    a big ring bash and they are £55 pounds.

    £55! bloomin 'eck. I foresee i business venture... Can you not get a little plastic bit like on kids bikes?

    yes but they are not for your cranks.

    they are mainly found on bikes used for touring or shopping not mountain bikes.

    so clips or shorts.

    Get some proper riding kecks, as Nick says shorts or tights. Trouser clips or tuck into a sock if you really have to.
    It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
