I have a pair of Diadora carbon road shoes. They have been very good and I am thinking of replacing them with another pair. I have been recommended both Sidi and Gaerne particularly the Gaerne G Myst Carbon. Has anyone else had any experience of these shoes? The guy in the club who has them tells me they are so comfortable. Unfortunately despite his kind offer to let me try them he is a size smaller than me so I d not think I would get a true impression of the comfort!

So Gaerne, Sidi or stick with Diadora? Whats your advice?

If you like the Diadoras, then you may as well stick with what you know.

I like the look of the Gaernes, and have seen a couple of positive comments - plus for me, having G for Graham on them increases the appeal no end

However, I just looked on the distributors website and discovered there are only 8 dealers in the UK!!! None of them are anywhere near me, so I'd be forced to take a punt and order from CRC and hope for the best. Not something I'd be too keen on, and I'm not sure if CRC would refund simply because they don't fit.

    Sidi all the way.

Not that I have tried Gaerne but my Sidis are bliss.

I've owned Sidi and Gaerne shoes in the past and it's Sidi everytime for me now.
