Hi,
Does anyone have any experience of clothing made by Showers Pass? I'm thinking of the softshell trainer especially as a cheaper version of the Rapha:

Any first hand advice/views appreciated.
Cheers.

I have the Showers Pass Softshell trainer. Its a fantastic jacket which beats the Assos 851 (which hitherto was my preferred winter jacket) as its very waterproof. Wear it with a decent baselayer and you're good to go for temperatures below zero (if you want to ride in such extremes). Its also very breathable and (lets face it- it does matter) very stylish in my opinion. I got mine from Mosquito bikes in London (no I don't work for them) but the journey might be a little uneconomic for you if you intend to try before you buy.

    Thoroughly recommended.

Many thanks for the advice. You're right, I can't try before I buy - Would you mind telling me, is the sizing accurate? I'm guessing US sizes come up bigger than European ones.

    Thanks,

I'm a 39" chest and the medium is a snug (its meant to be) fit.

As I said, fantastic top and well worth the money in my opinion.

    doughty,

Thank you for your help. Sounds like I'll be a large. I'm leaning towards the showers pass so I can spend what's left on bib tights, rather than blowing it all on a Rapha softshell!

hmmm, sounds like i might have to get one of these, Better than Rapha it must be good!!
Carbon fibre, it's all nonsense. Drink beer. Ride a steel bike. Don't be a ponce.
