Is this Aldi stuff actually any good?
I know it's cheap and I'm sure it's reflected in the quality of the gear, but a few people on here have raved about stuff they have picked up from there0 -

I'm still using the computer I bought this time last year and it's going strong. The track pump leaks air a bit, and the handle keeps falling off, but it's had plenty of use and gets my tyres rock solid in minimal time. And the toolkit I just bought looks spot in - there's an allen key set in Chain Reaction which appears to be the exact same one from the toolkit and they're charging a fiver for it alone. Bought various other stuff...yeah, it's all cheap, but some of it works very well.0 -
I'll be going Wallsend Aldi to pick up some stuff on Thursday, what's the bets my bike gets nicked from outside while I'm inside!0

I'll be outside the door of our Aldi on thurday at 9;00.....their ladies cycling shorts are the best ladies shorts for me, i've tried a few and Aldi beat all so far

Just read the recent thread on the LIDL gear, its all very similar.0 -
Aldi stuff is better quality than Lidl gear...quite a bit of a difference I find ( yes I am a skint MTBer)

Ah well thats even better then, I wasent knocking it - I wouldn't hesitate in buying any of it, I think its fantastic value for a MTBer on a budget
