The missus has a 2009 Specialized Myka HT and wants a chainguard to try and stop a bit of the oil getting on her trousers, we took it into a bike shop, the guy measured it but said he couldn't get hold of one. Any ideas on where to get one from? She's getting on my nerves about it now!
Chainring size 42S x 32S x 22S
Her bike is: http://www.evanscycles.com/products/spe ... e-ec016017

look for a Big ring guard on CRC"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

What about just getting a bash gaurd to replace the big ring, would give more ground clearance as well0

Try keeping the chain clean and lubing sparinly then wiping the excess off with a rag. it's what you're supposed to do anyway. You're going to struggle ton find a chain guard that works well with that bike. It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result0 -
