Garmin Edge - Routes

Picked up a Garmin edge and i think its great, but i just thought that is there was a national database of routes that could be shared and downloaded it would be great. For example i live close to Thetford Forest so it would be great to be able to download the routes onto the edge and then just head off.
Does anybody know if there is such a sharing website?
Thanks in advance

Goto the Garmin Connect website and use the search (explore->activities) to find the route you would like to do . Transfer to the device, drive to the trail and ride it - simples

They are brilliant and work great with google earth too at the click of a button. For routes try http://www.bikely.com/, create your own routes? http://wtp2.appspot.com/wheresthepath.htm and that site supports the uploading to your device but if you ever get any conversion problems etc then http://www.teambikeolympo.it/TCXConverter/TeamBikeOlympo_-_TCX_Converter/TCX_Converter_ENG.html is your best bet. Happy Mapping!0
