i've just bought this for £40,

gonna hook it up with some tora sl's in white and some juicy 3's not too sureabout wheel yet :D

    that is a particularily nice frame that gen of Hardrock. my spare bike is based around a Hardrock of that gen 17 inch frame with a 120mm fork and 1X9 and a short stem/wide bar combo. it rides so well as a slack, fast, simple, flickable (it jumps amazing well for a xc bike) and mentally stiff yet not harsh play bike.

    really, really love that frame.

    and cuz its second hand you dont have a warrenty anyway, you should run it at 120mm, it handles soooo well and feels so sick and aggressive. and that frame aint never gonna snap... have you seen the reinforcment and the sise of those wleds?!?

    i know what you're saying but i'm gonna run it with 100mm forks because it's going to be mainly my commuting bike and occasional play bike/cycle path with the gf bike :D
