V-Brake Pads

Hi All
I have a 2001 Dawes 301 Discovery Hybrid. The rear v brake pads are Tektro and approx 55mm long. Other than some 55mm Clarks spare pads most replacements seem to be 70mm+.
Do you think I should replace with the 55m Clarks or simply pick a better quality pad which will undoubtedly come in 70mm or above sizes?
Any thoughts.
Thanks

Most v-brake pads these days are 70mm long, IIRC the first canti/v-brakes with replaceable pads were 55mm. Buy a set of Fibrax pads with holders and open up the choice of replacements.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

Hi
Thanks for the response - I wasn't too sure if the larger size would be an issue other than slightly better braking.
I have fibrax on the front so will probably get the same.
