2004 Giant XTC Seatpost/tube diameter?

Anyone know the actual diameter of the seat tube of the above frame? It came with a shim and a 27.2 seatpost.

    Mine's got a 30.9 seat post in it and that seems to fit OK. I don't think I ever knew the exact diameter though. It originally had a 27.2 & a shim in which creaked like mad and drove me to drink :lol:

    My Giant Terrago (similar frame) is a 30.8 post with a 35 clamp according to Giant but im now running a 30.9 post and 34.9 clamp with no problems as the only correct sized post I could find was a £60 Thomson.
