Choose the order I try saddles in!

In my search for a new saddle, I've borrowed a load from a friend who has lots.

The contenders:
Specialized Toupe
Fizik Arione
Selle Italia SLR XP
Selle Italia SLR (water special edition, less padding than the XP)
Bikehut Carbon (very similar shape to an SLR again)

Naturally, I will be trying them all (though maybe less with each SLR). So, the higher the score in the poll, the higher in the order each saddle will be placed.

Well personally, and it is a personal thing, the cheaper saddle first and go up from there. You haven't got the Charge spoon in your list at 20 quid. Might like it, might not .....

Got a Spoon on my MTB. I didn't like it on road for some reason, but love it on the MTB. Also, I have a birthday rapidly approaching, meaning that if I find my perfect saddle, money is no object to buy one.

Maybe worth getting your sit bone measured at a specialized dealer; although the system is intended for their saddles it does give you a rough idea of the width of your sit bone.

My vote goes for the SLR XP; as its my favourite saddle (Will soon have it on all four of my bikes). But each to their own.

    I've opted for the Toupe.
I started off with two Ariones, but after a bike fit, I could no longer get on with them.
I did a BG Fit, then borrowed a Toupe Team, and have never looked back.
I went for a Phenom on my winter hack, for a little more padding over the long distances...

Aren't you worried your @rse may become a saddle slag?

If you like the Spoon on your mountain bike try a Knife on the road.

Its what I've done, 150km no problem.

    Test 1: Specialized Toupe.

Seems slightly better than what I had on before, though still not as comfortable as I was hoping. I'll tweak the position before the next ride, as it seemed slightly too far back, but I don't think this is going to be the one.
