Going on holiday at the end of may for a week to Menorca, looking at the map there are not many roads!! Is it worth taking the road bike, or are most of the roads unsuitable for skinny wheels. Has anyone been? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Local solution to lack of roads is the 'Ruta de los Faros'. Looks fun, see:

    for some route suggestions.

As usual, road surfaces put UK to shame.

    Have fun

Menorca is ideal for cycling for both road and off road.
It is a popular sport with the locals and many of the large companies have a works team and they can be seen at weekends all over Menorca.
There are many beautifull routes throughout the island...
I spend a lot of time in Menorca and ride on a regular basis.
If you DONT take your bike you will regret it.
