despite the best efforts of the recession, apparently i will be getting a bonus shortly, should cover the cost of a new set of wheels, i know it's been talked to death on here but i'm bored and doctor who was very dissapointing this week.

the mavics are obviously deep section the dura ace not but lighter etc ..

i do the odd TT and race local triathlons fairly competitively (top 20 finisher typically), so i'm thinking the marginal aero advantage of the mavics ought to justify the extra expense, or should i just save myself £250 and stick with the shimanos ? I like to think these will be used for racing only but i can see myself being reluctant to go back to aksiums after splashing the cash on these.

Anyone with experience of riding both care to share a comparitive opinion ?
