Van Nicholas Amazon Touring with Disc Brakes ?

Has anyone had any experience with the Van Nicholas Amazon fitted with disc brakes ? I heard clearance was a bit tight for the discs. Is that true ? Anyone used this combination ? The Touring frame is supposed to have IS mounts for disc brakes. Thanks in advance.

    Probably much too late to be any use to the OP, but I have an Amazon with BB7 road disc brakes - its fantastic.

    The discs are 160mm and fit fine.
