Had quite a few near misses this week....... 
Does anyone know of a light bright enough to use in the daylight - apparently this is common on the continent - but is such a light available in the UK ?

Smart 1/2 watt light or Cherry bomb, assuming it's a rear light you're after. These are vbright and use AAA's rather than smaller, less standard batteries. Hope this helps, here are some links.
