has anybody ridden the monkey ,and what do you think of it ,thought there was a tad to much climbing for my liking ,but i am a lazy censored

Haven't been to the chase for over a year - looking to try a lap of the new trail and FTD sometime soon.

How can there be too much climbing, the whole forest area is flat?

It's much improved over the old FTD trail which was getting shorter and shorter due to section closures.

The new trail is about the right level for a standard XC route, bridging the gap nicely between a basic track and stuff in Wales.

the stuff in Wales is standard XC nothing overly challenging at the trail cetners, just relaxing fun.

Gotta get away from the centers tot he locals stuff for amore crazy stuff. Trail centers have been sanitised alot over the last year

i think we're just spoiled living where we do mate, unless we go to the alps or somewhere it's all a bit tame :?

Depends how hard you hit the rock sections

on Wednesday everything was bone dry. On the climbs either side of the railway cutting my back wheel started spinning and that was it. Couldn't get going again.

Other people seemed less badly affected . Must be my bike. :?

will be better after a bit of rain.
