Trek 7.3 good for 8 mile commute?

Hi forums,

im thinking of getting the Trek 7.3 from Evans on the cycle to work scheme.

ill be doign an 8 mile commue each way.

just wanted some thoughts as to if this is a good bike for the distance

I'm doing 10 miles each way on a Trek 7.5 FX. It's coping relatively well with my ample frame. I had to have the back wheel replaced last year under warranty, as it kept popping spokes, but the replacement wheel has been fine since.

I've got the 7.3, it will cope easily with an 16mile commute.
