Help! I may be told that I need a new rear wheel, the only problem is that I am broke, flat broke, brassic etc. So here is the question
Is it just too ugly to just buy a rear wheel which won't match the front?
If not please recommend a shimano compatible one
If so a recommended wheel set for less than £150 please

The Model Bs seem to be getting good feedback plus Planet X are in Rotherham!!!! Which is great cos I live in Sheffield.
Are they better than Fulcrum 7 or R20s?0 -
Fulcrum R5`s from Merlin cycles.. in silver for >£150 and very bombproof... Ive been through s few potholes over the winter and still running true...

+2 Model Bs. There are far better wheels out there, but not for this price - or anywhere near it!0

If cash is an issue:
- Buy a new rim (£25, maybe less)
- Buy a rear hub off ebay (round £25 new again, less if used). Or salvage the existing hub from your wheel for free.
- Find someone to build the wheel up. Spokes will come in at less than £10 and you just need to pay for that person's time, which might be free or for beer if they're nice, or up to £20 at the most if you go to a shop.
You could be up and running for less than £50.
Alternatively, ebay is a good source for complete wheels.0
