I need a 58cm racing geometry factory frame in aluminium(or scandium) with a pedigree. One that is light, stiff and very good on performance, without switching to carbon. I ride a maximum of 2-3-4 hours at a time. I like a CAAD9 frame, but it be wiser for me, to settle on a alternative, suitable frame and use existing parts i already have, than spend for new bike.
Can you suggest (if there is such a thing) some good racing frames for under £500 ? (or a reduced bargain) preferably with a oversized BB.
That just leaves me needing wheels.
Thank you in advance.

If i didn't already have one in liquid blue, i'd buy one - the team colour is very smartCiao Marco0 -
Good quality choice and quite stunning. I had Principa in consideration from looking on CRC. Top welds, strong 7020 aluminium. Should be good quality coming from Denmark, possibly handmade and alot in there range are very stiff. They were quite sought after.
How is yours? I like the liquid blue colour.
Possibly a deal can be made due to the chipping. If i don't find anything better i like, i get one.

CAAD9 frames due to there design are good for racing but not built for lastibility. In the manual they actually state due to being a high end light race frame, they won't last forever. Good for 3-4 years of heavy use?0
