Female Saddles?

I'm building my daughter a training bike as her first foray into Road Cycling, she's 5'6" 9 stone and I'm a bit stuck as to what saddle I should fit as I'm aware that ladies saddles are shaped differently.
Don't want to spend a lot, but can anyone advise?
Many Thanks.

My girlfriend recently got a brooks B17s:

from Brixton Cycles and thinks it is the best thing since soya ice cream (that's good btw). I think it cost her £65 though, so what price range were you thinking of?0 -
My missus got a charge ladle for £20 and finds it really good.

much as you probably REALLY don't want to think about this in relation to your daughter - it can depend on the anatomy of her lady bits.
And just like mens saddles everyone has diffrent prefrences.
Sticking to generalities, things to consider; time in saddle, width of sit bones, curvature (convex /concave/ flat) of saddle. Lady fringe, bike position (upright v TT).
Minxgirl do terry saddles which have a good rep, and are american
Bontager do a trail period thing (3 months IIRC) & come in 3 diffrent widthsblog: bellevedere0 -

Nice one thank-you, will sort her out with one of these.
Thanks Salsamander and Littleb0b,
My daughter is 24 and still lives at home, so she is not a youngster, but I am building this bike for her as a thank-you for helping me.
Budget is very small as I know that once she is hooked that she will use this as a training bike and probably buy herself something cool.
I'm sure like all of us she will try different positions, saddles, bars, peddles etc.
I have heard a lot of good things about Charge being comfy, so for £20 it is worth trying that as a first stab.
I'll get a little worried if she then nicks my Arione CX carbon off my bike later on :shock:0 -
Anytime Slow-N-Old, I hope she likes her new bike :-)0
