The big guy who cycles across london bridge going north in the mornings at around 9 with full white lycra wearing an american football helmet with full wire guard.

He looks like he just stepped off the American football pitch.

Quite some look.

London Broncos helmet? Is he still around? I've not seen him for a while. I saw him a while back (probably 2 years) in tiny white shorts, a t-shirt and big thick gloves since it was the dead of winter. Proper nutcase

I demand pictures, especially if he's riding a Brompton.

I was behind him at the traffic lights at the north end of blackfriars bridge and I also spotted him on queen vic street going up towards bank.

There is also another guy who cycles in his blue baseball helmet.

I did consider a picture as I was walking at the time, but he was gone in a flash.

tight white lycra shorts - so yes probably the same guy. How many can there be?

It wasn't a Brompton unfortunately. Big bike for a big guy.

    Legend.

He certainly rings a bell. I've seen 2 or 3 people on road bikes, in lycra with full face DH helmets as well. Last night I spotted a chap on a flatbar roadie + panniers - normal commuter clothing and low end helmet, and...

    ...DH body armour!

London streets really arent't that mean.

I've seen him a few times on the drag strip before.... extreme but might've prevented me breaking my arm last year if id been wearing it...

Fair point. I have seen someone just wearing the arm guards as well, possibly for the same reason. Must have been pretty sticky in that lot last night though

Not possible for him. I've seen him twice: last Thursday and yesterday evening heading toward Stockwell. Someone tell him white lycra isn't working for him, but if it's designed to slow down speedsters I think he's successful. Way too thin.

Locally (goes through my village) there is a big fella (6'4" and 16+ stone I guess) rides a Subway, looks like a kiddies 24" under him, and I'm not sure if the suspended seat post does anything for him!

Does kick on at a lick down the road into town, he's easily pulled away from my car with 30 on the speedo!

Seen that guy (Brun's pic above) too.

Not sure if it's usually white lycra or v.tight shorts (with added butt crack). It's a good incentive to get past him. I've learnt to block it out, but may be time to meet the therapist again

White lycra (way too thin). Not a good look from the rear.

I'm guessing he is heading to or has amfoot training after work and so thought he might as well just wear the helmet rather than carry it.

Looks like it's probably a London Blitz helmet.
