    what hose is it?

    a sharp knife does most.

thats good to hear... its the hose on my new Clarks SX Skeletals, which should be ariving this morning..., if the hose is (as i think it is) braided, surely a knife wont work?! what should i use then? but if its just the normal black plastic then a stanley knife or similar will do?

dremil with a cutting disc will go through armour/braided cables without any problem.. just take your time.

whatever you do don't use a chop saw unless you want to learn to ride a bike with out fingers and thumbs.
