Hi everyone.
Been cycling a year (almost exactly) commuting to work and back, a distance of 30 miles, 4 times per week.
training / cycling more and more and entered a few challenges (made up ones) to raise a little sport relief cash.
www.justgiving.com/36hourchallenge
1st part of the challenge is this Saturday / Sunday
Sunderland to Whitehaven on Saturday 1st May (road route 120 miles)
Whitehaven to Sunderland (Home) on Sunday 2nd May (another 120 miles)
Off Monday to do some serious eating!
anyone with questions about what I've been up to or how i got to this point welcome to put in a reply.
All giving of monies also gratefully received!
Part 2. Northern Rock Cyclone in June (104 miles)
Part 3. Sunderland to London in 36 hours (August Bank Holiday)
Part 4. Great North Ride (the day after returning from London from Part 3!)
Slightly Mental, but worth a punt eh?!
Anyone at all totally welcome to join me.
Dave from Sunderland
