Me and the wife watched sixth sense when it came out on video, when it ended we were like "how did that happen?? are you sure about that?? no way!!" We watched it again straight away so we could see what we should have seen in the first place
Not sure if a link would do it justice :?:0 -
I wouldn't say it was my "favourite" (OK, it made me violently angry and gave me the overwhelming urge to kick Lars von Trier in the face), but this is certainly the ending that had the biggest effect on me:

It's not available on YouTube, but the ending of Kurosawa's 1962 film Sanjuro. I should say that up until that scene the film has been an enjoyable light-hearted comedic romp through the conventions of the Samurai genre, so the scene makes it's point with quite an impact.0

The ending of Sophies Choice affected me really badly, especially when I saw it my kids were very young.0 -
The ending of Fight Club is great. After all the mounting chaos and tension climaxes with J shooting "T" in the head there's a moment of peace as J+M finally connect. Then, "Where Is My Mind" (Pixies = best band ever) comes in at the exact right time - just as the banks begin to blow-up. BRILLIANT.

Aah, Bjork another reason to hate Iceland. They've contributed 3 things to us:-
1. Stolen our money
2. Owned a volcano that erupted costing our economy even more money and wrecking peoples' holidays.
3. Gave us her!
Surely that's grounds to quit Afghanistan and invade Iceland?
For the record, my favourite ending has to be The Usual Suspects

Sorry Pross, using my typing skills I managed to put in a response into your quote box.
I wrote, in reference to iceland,
They also eat puffins in Iceland. that is just wrong.
Sorry for the confusion.0 -
Saw Gordon Ramsey catching them once on some show, think that was in the Faroes though. There we go then, first decision for the new Government is whether to attack Iceland and sell it to pay back the money they owe us0

I really like those Foreign "Arty farty" movies, when they have all lost weight by the finish.
It always ends with the words "Fin"...0 -

I'm not really a Bjork fan either, but her performance in that film is truly excellent. Apparently von Trier gave her such a hard time during the filming that she vowed never to act again.
Anyway, what's wrong with eating puffins?0
