bike stand / holder advice needed

Hi all,

I want to get a bike stand for my bike. so no more leaving marks on the wall.
there are some on the market for about £20.

however, i was thinking if there is any stand that slightly lift the rear wheel of the ground so i can carry out simple maintainence

I do not want a proper work-stand, simply out of my budget. i m thinking just spend around £30 for something simple.
anyone using something simular would gimme some advice?

I got mine Monday of this week, but its a work stand and cost £60.

Great bit of kit though, check ebay.

Well worth the extra dollars in my opinion

I have one of those small stands, it's works well on my bike...some people complain that they fall over etc, i have no such problem once positioned correclty...£10 from Halfords!!

If you look around on Ebay, you can pick up a stand EXACTLY the same as the above link from Blister Plus for £40 (i've got one of those as well). Not up to Park Tool standards, but quite adequate for home mechanicing..

Yep, the Ribble stand is great.
