New Bike

I am about to buy a new bike and have narrowed it down to either a Giant Defy Alliance 2010 or the Boardman Road Bike Team Carbon XL 2010.

Does anyone have any advice on these bikes and if I should look at anything else?

    Both good bikes - ex Boardman rider and would recommend wholeheartedly.

    Would also consider Trek 2.1 with 105 kit.

    Try the bikes at your LBS to see what feels right and ensure you get the right size as different manufacturers geometry can effect frame sizing.

    Check the Halfords site for reviews on Boardmans - from what I gather they offer a good spec and a value price, but do your homework with your local Halfords first as some are better than others.

    (The whole 'Halfords/Boardman debate is raging on many a forum!!)

    I think they look cool though don't they??!!
