bearing cages

Hello
Ive been cleaning my headset ,and i have 7/32inch bearing cages ,i was going to replace these with new ,as i thought wont be that expensive ,well i can not find any .so i can find 7/32 ball bearings ,can i just replace the cage with loose bearings say pack them in then take a couple out .cheers

    yes fill and take 2 out.

    it just says on the info a cannodale connvertor ,im sure its been mentioned in an early post but couldnt find it ,i think it has reducer cups ? that take it down from 1.5 to 11/8 ,not sure
