Post used to arrive around 8:00am, then moved to 10am and now is anyone's guess at 12-2pm...
Gawd knows what the feck is happening, now I just dont leave ordering to the last minute/dont get excited unless you know its with parcelfiorce of courier...0 -
Hmm, this does seem to be an issue. Still waiting for the postie at work to deliver stuffs. Not sure what time the postie delivers at home though, think it's late morning.
And, its not consistent, some stuff gets here really quickly, other stuff takes days for no apparent reason.0 -
I've not recieved my spare buckle from endura yet, which is odd given their excellent service, and I'm blaming our postie.
We constantly get next doors mail and I wonder if he's posted our somewhere else.Advocate of disc brakes.0 -
Funny how interlink express can get a bag all the way from westbury by 9am yet a post man cant deliver a letter across town within 2 days.
This is the problem with the postal service, it should be put out to tender then people like TNT can do what they wanted to do for ages. Deliver mail, on time.Advocate of disc brakes.0 -
But then RM are left with the Channel Islands, the Outer Hebrides, the Welsh hills and none of the profitable areas. The market would fail, hence it's nationalised.
Most people are at work all day anyway, does it matter if the (domestic) post arrives at 9am or 4pm? Either way, you won't see any of it until you get home from work at 6.0 -
I think you're all forgetting that when the postie used to call before breakfast, he wasn't delivering stuff that was only posted yesterday!
If something goes in the post at 5pm today, I think getting it delivered by say 1pm tomorrow is pretty good service for 40p or whatever it costs.0 -
and I work from home (although not a lot these days LOL)
I used to hate waiting for that shiny prt to arrive, standing near the window, then only to see the postman walk past... even though it wasnt urgent, still wanted it NOW NOW NOW....
Cannot wait for the frame to turn up, however that will be a specified day..... 8)
Cranks should be here by the weekend, but I dont have a frame to put them on, so now drama!!!0 -

LOL - I love it when they wake you (especially couriers).... its the only time I dont scream down the stairs and show them the dlock...
You go "WHAT..."
Then you see the large box of goodies
"Hey thanks man... "

Ours came at 10am today. Had to push 3 loads through!
The thunk of WMB and MBUK was pretty obvious lol0 -
Given up on waiting for postie to deliver stuff at home. Now I get things sent to work instead.
Speaking of deliveries at work, tomorrow we should be receiving some new high tech toys, pending the readiness of our Flux Key.
a "Flux Key"? How cool does that sound?0 -

Is that the thing that enables time travel?

I dunno, but it sounds really cool!
The email went something as follows
"we are happy to tell you that your system has been configured and fully tested, and we will be shipping it to you tomorrow, pending the arrival of the Flux Key"
