Cove Stiffee what size frame

Hi,

Very keen on the Cove Stiffee from merlin Cycles, seems like a good price. I'm a bit unsure on frame size. I'm 5ft 7/8 and have recently been to places such as Cannock Chase and Afan.

Merlin recommended a 15.5" frame saying that it's easier to make a small frame bigger and a smaller frame suits the bike. 15 sounds a bit small to me and another shop advised the 17.5". Appreciate any advice from anyone that has got one.

Merlin always seem to advise sizes smaller than usual.

Bets way is to try one built up, or compare the geometry to a bike you know.

Sorry to bring this 'old' thread back, but I just wondered if you've bought your bike yet ?

I'm 6 foot and my 17.5" Stiffee is perfect for me. Not sure if that helps or not ?

I'm 6'3" with 34" inside leg and I've gone for the 19.5. Not ridden it yet but should be a good fit.
