I realise this is a piece of string kind of question.

Basically, I'm cycling a 1400 mile tour in 1 month, in that time I'll cover about 700 miles & I've got these babies sitting in my room, I don't want to put them on to soon at the risk of them needing a grease up during or before my tour!

Shall I just MTFU and put them on?

I'd put them on now and ride, just incase any probs show up.

i do mine once a year usually. I probably do 3000-4000 miles in that time.

You might need a bearing adjustment or a few winds of a spoke key bot i doubt anything more serious.

Anyway dont PX wheels use cartridge bearings? In which case use them till they die and pop replacements in later.
