I'll have a bit of that! Will let you know how it goes.
  • That's a bargain! I already have a carbon seatpost, and that one wouldn't fit my bike anyway, yet I'm still quite tempted!

I just ordered one despite already having a carbon post in my road bike. Might put one in my mountain bike.

Stoopid question - other than weight, what are the benefits of a carbon seat post?

Anyone know if it would fit a Focus Cayo 2007?

Vibration damping is what I'm hoping for. I've got an alu frame and post this should take the edge off a bit.

Absolutely! I only bought one as a stop-gap as I was sending back a faulty one, thinking it would be easier to sell on eBay than an Alu one. One ride over the cobbled seat my office is on convinced me to keep it forever. Absolutely love it.

Seemed a little weighty for carbon, but probably stronger than a typical post.

If after a light post have a llok at the Exotic carbon posts, as on my Zaskar Carbon.
