    GT has a much better spec for the money.
    I had a choice of XTC or Avalanche though,and I preferred the racier riding position of the XTC,though at the time they had similar specs and were a similar cost.

    Incidentally we don`t get either of those particular variants on the UK.

    yes gt has hydraulic brakes and ok shock, better choice IMO
