I am after a new rear derailleur, could i get away with a short cage size for this?and could someone direct me to one as all shimanio stuff seems to be medium size as smallest,many thanks

Yes, short is fine, have a look at a road mech.0

i got a question. what is the difference (in performance) with different cage length? some of my mates option for short to save a few grams. but whats the advantage of having a long cage?0
