Can anyone help me find the longest interesting off-road decent in Yorkshire? The longest I ride is 1.59miles long falling 647feet (thanks to bikehike.co.uk for working that one). That's Standedge near Mardsden in Huddersfield. Any takers for a bigger, longer decent? Where do you go?

Get to the Yorkshire Dales, there's a few round Kettlewell that drop 1000ft in about a mile.

Will let you know how good it is as we're doing it Sunday but the descent off Great Wold(Yorkshire Dales) into Dent is 6km long and drops 350m/1148ft,it's described as a 6km rock-garden 8)
It's on the Ribblehead/Dent/Great Knoutberry Fell route.0 -
