Ambleside today

Did a favourite loop of mine today from Ambleside. 16 miles and 2 hours moving,15min of breaks along the way for food and 630m climbing most of it in middle ring. Weather was cloudy to start with but the sun got out later. Quite a few walkers about but all very polite and I slowed down for all,as always on a charm offensive. Then a nice ice bath afterwards in the river rothay.

River crossing just outside Elterwater, very low for this time of year,Rydal water was low also.
Taken at the top of high close after climbing out of Etlerwater first part road then last part of climb offroad. I just need to learn how to take pictures now.
