I see on the Bianchi website in the shop section they have Celeste Pro Race 3 tyres for sale, anybody know if these are available from anywhere else, preferably UK?

I think they can only be sourced via bianchi. It's the same with celeste rubhino pro's they only seem to be able to be bought in america.
I've looked everywhere for months and its the usa or bianchi only I'm afraid old chapBianchi. There are no alternatives only compromises!

Thats a shame, I noticed them on the Bianchi site and like others was hoping they would be avaialble elsewhere. I have previously bought from the Bianchi site but found postage costs very high and that was before the Euro £ exchange rate went west.I ache, therefore I am.0

Hi
We use the Pro Race 3 tyres on our standard Valdora builds. If anyone is interested I could find out if we could ship some in. Obviously would need to be a reasonable quantity to get a decent price. PM me if interested.

I just went on the michelin website and asked them why they aren't available to the uk. I'll let you know what they say. Perhaps if we tried to get a good few enquires they might make them available. You never know.Bianchi. There are no alternatives only compromises!

Cheers for your inputs Guys, would be really good if we could buy them in this country, let me know if you get any response from Michelin Fungus. There must be quite a few Bianchisti in this country who would buy these tyres I'm sure.0

I would be interested also0

Changing the subject slightly, does anybody know if they have or plan to produce speedplay pedals in celeste ??0
-
Celeste Pedals, now that would be taking it too farI ache, therefore I am.0

My missus would have an heart attack if they did that. She couldn't believe the price when I got my red speedplay zero's especially when I showed her the dearer ones.
Perhaps we should all bombabrd speedplay now with requests for celeste speedplays
Celeste speedplays would be uber 8)
I WANT I WANT I WANT !Bianchi. There are no alternatives only compromises!

Ohh... I'd be interested in the tyres too.
I'm also trying to source celeste cable/frame protectors. Any ideas? I've got black already from jagwire I think. I saw an article in Cycling plus on an Athena Groupset C2C bike with the very items I wanted (but on a red bike). I've been looking ever since!shame the rider doesn't match the bike...0 -
They sell them on the bianchi siteBianchi. There are no alternatives only compromises!

Celeste Speedplays would be awsome, I am thinking of buying the green speedplays anywey and hoping they sort of match a little, but celeste ones would be the bomb.
I need them.........0 -

I know Hudz make celeste inner cable do-nuts (to stop the cable rattling against the frame) as well as Campag, Shimano and Sram brake hoods. I remeber seeing them on the e-bay.0 -
Hi Machman
Sent you a PM reply not sure you got it as it says in my outbox but not in sent box.

Hi Last1 PMed back, anyone else interested in getting these tyres as Last1 can source them for us and get them at a price hopefully of £22-25 each, let us know.0

Ok got a reply back from Michelin
Apparently they did a run of some in a colour they called Azure. However they decided not to carry them on or sell them. He presumes that Bianchi bought the whole stock and are selling them via their website.
There won't be another run made apparently so once they are gone they are gone.
I'm going to mail Michelin back to see there's any chance that they could be persuaded to re think.
Anyone know roughly how many bianchi's are sold every year in the UK? I could use that as an argument.Bianchi. There are no alternatives only compromises!

Hi
As already posted-- I can get Pro Race 3's OK no problem.. I need to double check that there is stock over there of the Celeste as its the one you guys are all after. At present its showing in stock with my supplier, but before sticking my neck out further I want to double check that if I put an order through it will be fulfilled. Ill let you guys know as soon as I get a reply back
Regards

Seems that Bianchi run Vittorias now, but with a white tread on the celest bikes. They look lovely with white wheels, cables and bar tape but it probably all looks grubby pretty soon. They have celest brake hoods and frame protectors.0

i have the digital blue on my old bianchi and it is a perfect match for celeste0

It's funny because to my eyes celeste is green! Seems like it changes all the time so maybe it's just luck they go with your bike.0 -
Is this them http://www.gbcycles.co.uk/eshop.asp?wci=product&wce=TYMPR3BI01&desc=MICHELIN+PRO+RACE+3+TYRE+CELESTE'Hello to Jason Isaacs'0

Gotta hope the digital blue matches 'cos the real celeste ones are £20 more!
Not struck on the pro3race either, but this is a style thing!0 -

It's my birthday coming up, does this thread still stand, as gospel or have Bianchi relented under the pressure?0
