Hmm not sure any will, they're just too tall and long. Not actually tried one on a train but I know my large suitcase was a squeeze and a bike bag/box is a fair bit larger. Worth checking in advance if it can go in the guard's area though.

I've used a DHB padded bike bags on trains to France, including the tube & metro, with no problems. French trains are easier, they have large area for bikes, bagged or not, UK trains bit of a tighter squeeze but still ok. When the bikes are bagged you don't need to book them on, they are classed as hand luggage. We took ours by train from S.Wales to the Alps last year, this year we're doing it to Pyrenees (Lourdes) - can't wait !!
