Saxo mechanicals
Is it me, or have they had a huge amount of mechanicals during the classics?
Frank had one today and finished on someone elses bike. Chinny monster changed bikes in both Roubaix and the Ronde. Matti had his fit about getting the wrong bike etc.

Like most Specialized kit, you need at least a couple of replacements to find something of decent quality! In fact most people I know who ride them are on a warranty replacement.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

Maybe you have a very small social circle?
I would have thought most of the Saxo mechanicals have involved non-Specialized components, like gears or brakes, and not the sort of thing people would get a warranty replacement for.Le Blaireau (1)0 -

Most of Saxos mechanicals have been things like frames failing.0 -
Really? That is a bit unusual/worrying if it's true. I can understand it with the amount of power Chinny's putting down thoughLe Blaireau (1)0

The team I ride for is sponsored...this is merely an observation as the support from Specialized is typically excellent.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0 -
