DT Swiss 370

Got a problem with my rear hub. When pedalling it's fine, but once I start to freewheel it makes a clicking/rubbing noise, and when spun by hand feels 'rough'. It's a DT Swiss 370 hub. Does it just need a service? Hasn't been used much...

Thanks

might, you need to work out if it is the hub or the body. sounds more like the body bearings.

Now it doesn't engage properly either, so the freehub can be spun either direction atm.

Replacement free hubs are £60  Any help nick? :P

    http://www.dtswiss.com/Service/PRODUCT-DOCUMENTS.aspx

and read the tech docs and strip and service, and replace what needs replacing.

is it the 370 or the 370SL?

OK Thanks, it's the 370. Do you think I should buy the service kit? (£5).

Any chance the freehub already needs replacing?

open it up and see what is going on.

you may not need anything. but you may need more.

I did open it up the other day, didn't have enough time to do anything, and all I saw anyway was loads of grease! Will have a look later...
