Cycle Mitts - Which Ones Would You Recommend?

I've had a look in a couple of shops this week but I haven't found anything that suits. Ideally for me they should be light, ventilated and well padded to cut out as much battering on the bars as possible.

Any recommendations welcome as we work our way into warmer weather (I hope!!).

+1 for these specialized gel mits - gel padding in the right places and very comfortable.

Steep your hands for 6 years in vinegar and you don't need mits.

Me I just got some assos ones - they are the most I can afford from that brand with the arm warmers and socks - and they are grand.

I normally use some Endura ones, although I forgot to pack them today for a spin in the forest and ended up borrowing my wife's BG Gel ones (for women). I have to say they were great. Could do with keeping them but I would have to fight with the wife and get used to the "berry" colour (assuming I won!)... or I could visit the bike shop and get some Spesh BG Gel ones (for men) of my own. Probably go with the bike shop option, amazing what other goodies they have in there :)

Pearl Izumi gel ones are very good

COVEC, what are the Gore ones like. Need some new mitts now the sun's out and like the look of them and Gore stuff's normally pretty good.
