    I agree, I've always tended to buy based on what I want, technical evaluation of lots of parameters is ok to a point but if it's something you really like go for it.

    I would go for something that uses spokes that are easy to get hold of. I had a nightmare with getting a fulcrum spoke so I would say to avoid them.
