Anyone know of any which would take place within the next couple of months? I looked on the British cycling page but most seem to be in scotland....

I guess with all TTs you need the racing licence?

Cheers,
Tim

Most TT's are not run under British Cycling, but Cycling Time Trials, see http://www.ctt.org.uk/

No, but you need to be a member of a club affiliated to CTT to enter an "open" event (ie not a club event ususally held on summer evenings)

Try the Banbury Star CC here: http://www.banburystar.co.uk/clubevents.html

Or Bicester isn't a million miles away and the Bicester Millennium CC hold regular Tues eve time trials on a traffic-free road round Weston on the Green airfield. An excellent place to test yourself against the clock. 4 laps = 10 miles. Try googling them.

    Hi there,

Justin here from the Banbury Star CC. Why not come along on a Wednesday evening and join us for a club TT. We usually use a 20km course (13 miles), but the evening series also includes a few 10s plus a couple of 25s during the late mid-summer evenings.

You don’t need a racing license – the £2 start fee includes your insurance – and you’ll be more than welcome.

Check out the link from the previous poster for the calendar, there are details of the routes/where to meet etc on our website.

If you need any further info please feel free to PM me.

    All the best,

    Justin
