As the title says, I am replacing a set of alex rims on my winter/commuting bike (Trek SL).

I have a set of Mavic aksium wheels on my Focus Cayo, and really like them but having looked around in my budget (£150) the Shimano's look good too.

So over to you guys your advice and suggestions would be most welcome.

Thank you

Benn

Planet x model b or c's, i have the b's and feeel similar to R500 RS10 and RS20 that i have tried. They are slightly lighter but this doesn't seem to be that noticable. I wouldn't buy any other wheels unless i was getting some really nice light ones but then i'd spend a lot more.

Had some RS20s, seemed cheap and poorly finished to me, now have 2010 Aksiums and they are much better. They look much better quality and feel good on the road (fairly stiff but not harsh), overall very pleased with them :D
