    OoooOooo spooky mist

I feel quite shamed that I've only rode to work once this year- its only 2ish miles away (4 if I take a route with less traffic)

I'm on my way to Solihull for a ransom drugs and alcohol test, unfortunately by test it's not a sampling session. It's also not really random at all as it seems to be on the back of my weekend on the pop. Ah well at least it's a day off driving trains

    Good Morning Freaks! And, TGIF!

This morning's commute took me over the 100 miles for this week. :D Weather's still awesome. Will have to re-coat the northshore, erm I mean decking over the weekend, might make a start on it tonight, so it will be all nice and dry for a fettling session tomorrow. 2nd breakfast will be happening shortly. I will involve some dead, sliced and fried pig and an enourmous amount of caffine.

Oh and if anyone remembers the seatclamp that I ordered a couple of months ago, that never arrived? It did this morning. I'll drop Clee Cycles a note and send it back to them.

  • I'm not doing much today. Been on the bike every single day for the last couple of weeks so today I'm resting up.

Might go mow the lawn later, do some gardening. Some last minute fettling may also be on the cards before I venture off to sunny Wales at 5am tomorrow.

Speaking of Flip Floppers. Welcome gift from Cisco turned out to be a Flip camera. Nice little toy even if it will turn out to be useless on the bike.

    Morning all!
Same old same old at work for me today. Just filled in the entry form for my first ever race that i shall be entering on Sunday. I know it's pretty unrealistic for my first event, but I really want to finish in the top half...not sure how many riders yet though!

Don't think it will mount well at all to be honest. It has a tripod mount so it could be fitted to the bars somehow but its shape means it has to sit upright (and be utterly destroyed on its first fall). Might work as some kind of chest mounted camera though.

Today I will be looking for new gloves...Think my current pair have all but completely fallen apart, though to be fair to them they are now incredibly well vented.

    Morning all,

Another 1 of those “sunny day” things, maybe the sky is not just teasing me after all?

    Friday = Yay! :D

Offspring Mk1 is off visiting his Mum today and tomorrow and offspring Mk2 is terrorising my grandparents this afternoon so I have a bit of free time after work today. Going to get my haircut then back home for hopefully some bike fettling. The Scott could do with a strip down but not sure if I can get everything I want done this afternoon. Might have to take it round parents next week and raid the old man’s toolbox.

There’s currently a Granola bar sitting on my desk, staring at me. Equally disturbing is the banana at the other end of my desk, staring at the Granola bar. I fear a food fight coming on.

    Is it 1.45 yet?

well that was a whole load of bother about nothing, I had to pee in a cup and have my eyes tested, not at the same time, and not as a result of the sucess (or lack of it) at peeing in a cup. On the plus point, i get to ear contact lenses at work, and one of the nurses looked like Konnie Huq, which is a bit of a reccurring theme at the moment for me

Phase 2 is now officially called the Monkey Trail. Bit tedious at times but lots of fun ;)

What's the race? Any chance it's the Goodwood Spring Challenge? It was my first ever race last year, and this sunday, will be my second ever race!

Have a good on on sunday wherever it is, and don't get too carried away playing "keep up with him" too early on! :D
