I have not tried the Krylion to compare but I just got a set of the 4 Seasons.
First impressions:- Hard wearing with plenty of grip and decent rolling. No "unfortunate incidents" as expected and the main reason for buying.
Ride comfort is another issue although it may be a bit unfair as my previous set were Vittoria Paves. The comfort is nowhere near as nice and I have dropped the pressure from 120psi to around 100.
For my next set I will probably be looking for something between the 4 Seasons and the Paves.None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.0 -
You can't go wrong with kyrlion carbons quite honestly. The ideal training tyre.0

GP 4 season is a good, reliable tyre (so ideal for winter riding) but not very lively. Vittoria's Rubino Pro is an excellent training tyre, with good protection and a lot more 'zing' than the Conti....
I'm also a big fan of Conti's Grand Prix tyre in 24mm - I have these on a set of training wheels at the moment and they're well worth a look..0 -
I have used the cheapest vittoria zaffiro 23mm tyres on my training wheels the last year, no punctures, but they are very heavy..and i think 25 mm will be a little more comfortable..and better tyres will have more road feel also ofcourse, so maybe krylion 25mm will be a excellent choice?
my weight is 100kg..so i think 25 mm will be more comfortable for my weight..0 -

I'm not sure if you understood my post. Rubino Pros are not Zaffiros - they are folding bead (light) and are available in 25mm.0 -

Could you elaborate a little? They seem to be something inbetween GP4000S and Gatorskin. How do they compare to Rubino Pro and the GP4S? Both in terms of durability, ride and punctures.
The Grand Prix 2009 seems like a very nice tyre (black chili) and can be had quite cheaply to, but I don't see many reviews/comments.0 -

I like them - probably slightly quicker than Rubinos and they are holding up very well. Can't comment on how they compare in terms of puncture resistance, because I haven't punctured on either..0 -
Thanks a lot. I will probably try them sometime. £13 for the 24mm folding in Germany. Not bad!0

yeah..maybe try contis gp 24mm, seems like a safe bet, any diference betven wire and folding?0

If you've got money to spaff Vitoria Open-Pave CGs. They're only 24mm but I think they're great. Running 'em on both bikes since last year and love them.0

I bought the continental gp 24mm, got a nice deal on them!! not sure if its wire or folding?:) but they seems light..ligther than the zafiros.....
looking forward to try them out...., the Zaffiros are still going strong, no punctures for 1 and 1/2 year:)0
