I am running my 3 dales ride on Bank Holiday Monday May 3rd. This is a hilly 80 miler with opt outs, so if you only want to do a circle to Helmsley that's fine or if you want to miss out Rosedale then that's fine too. We will start off from Thirsk Market Place at 09.00 and it will be a steady paced ride with stops in Helmsley and then again later on depending on how the ride goes. I am expecting this to be an all day ride. Click on the link below for the route.

  • John, I hope you don't mind that I've copied this and posted it on another site which has a good North East following. In fact some of us were out last Sunday over some parts of this route, ie Boltby Bank....

There may be some interest, if I'd been free I would have liked to have joined you, would have been good training for the Richmond 80 miler and the Ryedale Rumble.

It's to be found on the road bike section of this Forum, once again, I hope you don't mind.

No problem , yes it covers quite a few of the hills of the RR and we'll no doubt coincide somewhere.
