Guys,
looking at a new set of wheels (link belkow) - i have a few questions.
http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/Mavic ... 360046101/
Would i need to replace my brakes?
Would these fit my bike? (Standard Boardman team carbon)
Are they fairly robust? would they be ok for sportives/audaxs etc?
Would you need to keep re-adjusting the spokes? (i dont know why you would though..)
Any advice would be really helpful
Thanks all!

anyone?0

No. They have an aluminium braking surface so you would not need to replace your brakes, unless you have carbon specific pads on at the moment.
Yes of course they would fit your bike, make sure you get the correct freehub for your groupset.

Taken from the boardman website ..
Cassette Shimano CS-5600 12-25T
is this the correct cassette if i want to have one on both sets of wheels ...

That would do the job fine.0

what sort of things are likely to break these wheels? I'm trying to work out if i can use these wheels for more than just events, ie: training rides etc0

Basically avoid potholes and try and keep your weight down.Luckily I weigh about 65kg so any wheel I use no matter how light can generally handle a bit of punishment.I recall reading that Easton recommend that riders over 90kg don't use certain lighter wheels of theirs.0

I'm the same as you KillerMetre - 10stone give or take.
Would you say these wheels could be used almost as a daily ride?0 -
Ribble are doing them for £720 including delivery. Check the Reader Reviews on Cycling Weekly's website for a decent review of their robustness.0

Their robustness/longevity is something i've read in just about every review i've seen for the SL and SLR wheelsets.
If you are that worried you can always take the Mavic mp3 protection out at time of purchase as well.0 -
Does the mavic mp3 protection protect against literally any accident within 2years, would i still be eligible for this protection if i bought through wiggle?0
